don't know how to bind hexies, but any hints will be good. i have learned much from this board. NOW,,,,, I have NOT started my mug rug yet, waiting for dr. reports from a whirlwind week of tests for blockage in my heart. I pray all will be fine, but would cherish prayers from my quilt sisters......................
also, after reading all these hints, my zip code does not qualify, my area does have an "A" in it, and yes, we have rain again today. note: I will love any thing you make if you have my name, I love all gifts.......... LOL........

when i made my cat her 3/4" hexie quilt, I added a small border of black to ground it all. hand app to the border and bound as usual good luck, show us when you're done.
Finished my top, I may do the pillow case binding, I don't know yet, it's tiny to fuss with. I don't want to screw it up at this point now.

Here's a link to a great tutorial on mitered binding angled quilts, including hexies. I made a table runner that was larger hexies, and found this binding tut. I couldn't believe my binding turned out pretty good after I did it this way, lol:
