Margie....EQ is a great program for designing and it has a nice block library..but nothing in the library really that you can't find on quilterscache.com.....You know...you can choose to use all Christmas fabric with a very simple block...you could choose a Christmas applique theme and use any old fabric...You could go with just winter colors and any block you like...maybe pick a room in your home that you'd like to use the quilt for the holidays. Pick a fabric that goes well in there and start from there....it will come to you....sometimes it just takes a little while for the idea to come to perfection in your head!!

PS. as a side note, for all my quiling folks out there can we stick to this theme/colors for my quilt...? I don't know what it was written down, but these are the colors of my bedroom and I'd kinda like to stick to that if at all possible! :-)

mrsj82 - I put on that you would like some forest green. I'm sure all the rows that follow will match yours. No one will be screaming to add a crazy color. :) Want to post a photo of your bedroom so we can be sure to match it? :) LOL! I'm in your group, and I get yours last. I so have no trouble working with the pretty green and blues you used in your row. :D
EQ5 is a bit expensive. A $100 or more. I read raves about it all the time. They also have EQ6 now as well, which is the newer version.
Margie I agree with Sandpat try to stick with something easy, with great fabric it will look amazing.
