    Thanks Deb. Do you know where or how I can find out what all the abbrev. you used mean? I am fairly new to this and don't know a lot of the abbrev. such as the ones you used in your info. on the balloon swap.

    pp is paper pieced
    R/W/B was fro Red/White/Blue (it was another swap)
    OCD is obsessive compulsive disorder
    PM is private message

    those were all I saw in the thread

    Hope that helps and ask us anytime. it takes a while to get some of them and I learn a new one every week or so.

    a couple others commonly used are:
    OBW = one block wonder
    HST = half square triangle
    LQS = local quilt store
    DH, DD, DS = Dear (usually, tee hee) husband, daughter, son
    DIL, SIL, MIL for the in-laws

    Sooo... I wasn't going to do this swap 'cause I didn't have a use for hot air balloon blocks... then...



    Guess whose cousin just got proposed to in a hot air balloon at sunrise?!?!!


    Please sign me up. They'll have a short engagement, but I think if I hurry I can get this quilt together in time for their wedding (they're thinking October or November of THIS year!)
