Just go to the top or bottom of this page and on the right side it gives the pages, just click on the page you want to read and then look for the post.

Welcome to the board. It's a lot of fun here.

You know Deb you were scaring me with needle turn applique but then I remembered the reason I wanted to do this swap was because I had some hot air balloon fabric in my stash, is this ok or are we strictly doing a pieced or appliqued balloon??

To my understanding you can do the balloon any way you want to. I think it would be nice to have a variety of different balloons made different ways.

Hey there daughter - balloons can be what ever you want them to be. Single pieces cut and zig-zagged, or PP or any style of applique. Balloons are fun and you should have fun making them.

As long as the fabric is 100% cotton - go for it! Lots of us shop at Walmart......

The posted pic of the sample block is actually on the thread VOTE FOR THE NEXT SWAP by NorBanaQuilts. At the top of this page, go to the /Search/, click on that, type in vote for next swap and look for NBQ's post. It is on page 8 of that thread. And in the next page or so, is one drafted by another girl that is not "copywritten" (copyrighted?) and she has even put the measurements for each piece. You can do that if you want, or make up your own design or whatever..!
