I am not that new to the board, but I haven't gotten in on a lot of the things you all do. What is the round robin? It looks like someone is getting a whole quilt in the mail? I think I am missing out...

I need your opinions here. I was working on a trellis and I have worked and fussed & sewn & resewn and I am at my wits end here. 2 corners are fine. 1 is OK and 1 is, well, look at the picture.

I cannot get the corners to match. Because of the math they are not coming out exactly right. Soooooo, I put it back so it is straight which means my seams don't match.

As I was working on this I thought it would be fun to have applique bunches on top of this but not limited to just my border. After this has completed its round you (Sandpat) could add the applique once you get it back or you could send it back to me and I would be glad to add to the completed top. What do you think I should do?

    Thanks for your input.

Hmm, but you haven't squared it yet, so I'm not sure if anything is wrong. It looks like a great choice.

    OK Ladies

Here goes - this is my addition to Elles centre from Group 1. This was a hard one for me as I wasn't too sure whether to try to do some appliqued Japanese writing along each side. Anyhow after so deliberation I decided upon a plainish border with some blocks added in. All I hope is Elle's approves.

Here is the trellis for the grapes to grow on finished up to the best of my abilities.

If you would like, I can change out this border I would be glad to do that. If you find it too busy I can change it for something plain & simple.

    Thanks.

    Mary

That border looks fine to me - to be honest I couldn't see where you had an issue with it. Yes it certainly looks the business to me. I am sure Patti will like it too.
I am working on your centre next - can't wait to get my mitts on it LOL.
