We were gone to the beach for a few days. Back now and getting things organized for back to school. I've been working on my Farmer's Wife blocks, procrastinating on finishing an IRR 2 border, and still haven't made my label. LOTS of sewing to do this week!

Linda, I'd like to try to get mine in the mail to you on Sept. 1st so we can judge how long mail takes across the ocean. I'll PM you when it goes postal.

Thanks, mine made it to Bonnie in about 10 days.
I'll let you know the day it gets here.

I have my center ready to go, label and all. Was trying to wait to closer to the date to ship it. Is that ok. Or should I go ahead and send it?

Sorry Bonnie, just reread that, and it sounded a bit rude. What I really meant was I thought maybe one was coming my way, then realised that I sent you mine.

That is ok. We are all excited to get started. I went to one store this past weekend and could not find anything I liked to go with your center. Will try another one this week. I know I should be able to find something there.

I will try to get mine in the mail this week. I have to double check, but I think I am sending mine to California.

Do we wait until September 15 to mail the center blocks or should they be mailed so they are recieved by the 15th?

I hope to finish the label this weekend and I thought about mailing it out early next week.

For this initial mailing, we are to mail them out by Sept. 15th but can send earlier if we so choose. For all the other mailings, we're supposed to send them on the stated mail date (ie. Nov. 1st, Jan. 15th, etc.). I'm ready to receive yours whenever you'd like to send it. Just be sure to email or PM both littlehud and me when you send it out. Looking forward to seeing yours in person!

Here's my label. After the picture I went over my lettering again to darken it up and also added my name and location under my board name. I attached a small square of fabric next to my name and I'd love to have each of you do the same if you don't mind. Just a little square of any fabric that you've used in your border. There should be enough room for 6 down the left side, or for variety and balance, feel free to stagger them - some swatches can be placed on the right side instead of the left. Do what you feel is best when it comes to you.

It's off flying to Australia now!
