    Ladies

Let me put my feelings across to all of those of you who are a little apprehensive about joining in with this project.

I have only been quilting for about 18months now - so I did jump in at the deep end so to speak when I sort of talked myself into joining the ladies in the current ongoing IRR. (I had only been quilting then for about 6 months!!!!!)
Yes LOL I too (I can chuckle to myself now) felt sick to my stomach worrying about working on somebody else's top & as to whether my addition would be up to the standards of workmanship of the others in my group.

I can sit here hand on heart & tell you all out there that this has been one of the most inspiring things I have ever been fortunate to be involved in. I have learn't so much & together we have all made such works of art. I wouldn't have thought it possible to feel so full of self worth too when your work is given the acknowledgement that it receives here.

So if your sitting there in the shadows please inch your way out into the light & join the band wagon - your be welcomed aboard with open arms I promise.

Something else you will also gain is friendship(s) that will touch your heart like no other - we are afterall one big happy family.

Hence the reason why I am participating again  - Tisha :P

Thanks Ninnie and Ducky, you wonīt regret it and like I said we all help each other. If you just canīt think of an idea or get stuck for fabric shout.

I havenīt a clue as to what I am doing yet, but thinking, thinking. However I have had 2 glasses of wine and its not helping :?

Donīt know what time it is out there in this great big world but for me it good nite, sweet dreams. 23.48pm

Night night Elle, and sweet dreams. Of course we will all help each other and thank you Tisha for your inspirational message. I think you are amazing. I would NEVER have signed up if I had only been doing this for six months, so you must have been really brave.

I am thinking of doing a mostly black and white center square. I love the way the black and white swap is looking and think it might be fun to have a B&W with bright cheerful colors intergrated in there.... hmm.. no idea what block though!

I am really looking forward to this RR!

Oh boy! So glad you are signing up Ninnie and Ducky! We'll have fun, I promise. I just started to teaching myself to quilt in 06...so not all that long either. This is a no pressure group..don't you know that by now??? Since I always quilt by myself, this was something so special to me. I feel like I worked on a quilt with a group of my friends. I love the different look and feel of each round that is added since everyone adds their personality to their addition. Don't worry about your skill level...you commit to yourself that you will do the best work that you can...and then leave it at that! Its certainly good enough for me!

I'm thinking about maybe using some of my chicken blocks for my center...does that sound like fun or dorky?
