Ok...I'm going to ask a really stupid question........hahum

If I understand it...will I always be mailing quilts to the same person...and I'll be getting my quilt tops from the same person.. Different quilts I understand....but received from the same person and mailed to the same person.

I am truly excited I found this site and doing this RR. I haven't sewn in many years because I was taking care of my mom before she died. Then I actually gave away all of my fabric to a Senior Home. I was a serious fabric addict and lets just say that they won't be needing to buy any fabric for a long long time...lol Didn't think I would be sewing again.

So basically, I'm starting fresh.....no stash. But oh what fun to start again. Thankfully, still have all my books and sewing machine. :)

Hey Tabby - welcome back to the world of quilting!

Yes, you will be receiving from and mailing to the same 2 people each rotation!

BEST of luck to you, and oh, what fun to rebuild your stash!!!

okay ... okay <g> I read what List mom said, and I will be v e r r y good! LOL (for five minutes or less, anyway!) did I really admit that???

Hats off to all you gals who know where all your quilts are going ... and, I thought I was so smart just getting you all organized in MY world! (We all have a right to some delusions, eh? LOL)
    Anyway, I have a plan <g>
I will figure out my centers and then I will figure out where all they are going. In the meantime ... workday at the Post tomorrow, and life in general ...

For me.... our night is your day, so there are a lot of messages posted while I'm fast asleep. It would be very difficult for me to catch up if it's all in one single thread. If I'm pushed for time, I would prefer to be able to just read my group's thread, so I didn't miss anything important, and then read the others IF time permitted. :-)

Blue...I'll have to think about how to help you out on that. To list a discussion thread, then a pic thread for all groups for every round would be 120 threads! I think we would be discouraged from taking over the entire board...but maybe I can think of something...I DO see your problem!!

Pam, thanks for starting the attached thread...Ladies, this will show that you do need to insure you shipments if possible. Also...a GREAT tip.....put a label with your name, etc. inside the package...attached to the top..just in case! DO NOT PUT A LABEL ANYWHERE ON THE PACKAGE SAYING THAT IT CONTAINS A QUILT! Even my little podunkie PO said not to do that...it is too tempting for theives..quilts are expensive and they know it.

"Losing" our quilts during transit is really scary! I didn't realize how many were actually lost never to be found again!
