My block is 80% finished. I took a photo as I just have a little more to stitch around but it is all attached to the background fabrics... and then the camera died! I'll get some new batteries and post it up soon

I like them both for different reasons as well, but I'm kinda leaning towards sending the original block, I had been lokking at it for a couple of weeks in a magazine, thinking there was going to be an IRR soon. Yes, that's it. Thanks for your help, going with the original plan. The octopus is one of 6 different really bright blocks, so I've got the next 6 years covered for IRR. :lol:

Slightly dyslexic, but my excuse is it's after midnight.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a label?
Should it match the block, relate to the block on some level, or just be a label??

Your label can be anything you like. I do mine on a piece of fabric that is in my center. I know that I will be picking a backing that will coordinate...so I know the label will look good on whatever I pick. Thats just me though...I've seen them come through all different ways..including just a piece of paper that the owner plans to scan and then put onto fabric later. Its your choice. :lol:

Exactly what Patti says. If you are unsure of what you want to put on your label or what color to use, just include a piece of paper for everyone to sign, then you can make the label when you are done with the quilt.
