Kay I received the next centre, not sure who's it is (maybe Jackie's) but just wanted to say what a fabulous job you made of this one. It is looking great. It sure is becoming difficult to decide what should be done next?

Well I will think on it for the next few days and see what pops in to this addled head of mine

Can you post a picture? We have only seen three of our six for this round.

    Hi guys,
Just thought I'd fill you in on the "life happens" going on in my life. My husband lost his job here in Vegas. Fortunately, he is able to transfer into Phoenix. So -- HEAVY SIGH -- I am moving. I am surrounded by boxes and stuff LOL. I will finish (soon) the center I have and get it mailed on, before I pack my sewing machine. I will contact Vicki by pm with new address to send next center to. If I sound a little crazy it is because I am. I am still working here until the 29 of May. My DH is already gone. It is all good. I should run across my camera sometime in this mess and when I do, I will take pic of the center before I mail.

Thanks for the update Jackie, glad it is working out ok.
I have had a lot going on also, my husband had total knee replacement 4 weeks ago, then a week later had a blood clot in his leg and also clots in his lungs. And last week my mother-in-law went into the hospital with congestive heart failure. She is 96 and had been living on her own, but is now too weak to be alone so has moved to our home, where I am the primary caregiver. She then had a ministroke last night and is back in the hospital for a couple of nights, will be back here tomorrow.
Needless to say, I am not getting any sewing done right now as too much "life" is happening. I sure hope things settle down soon, and that I get some inspiration for this next center.

Just popping in from Gp 9 , but wante to let
Vicki know others are thinking of her as well. Hope life settles soon, and husband and mil are ok. Please look after yourself as well, we all seem to forget ourselves when others are unwell and need our attention.

Jackie I am sorry to hear of your “life’s hiccups” they seem to happen to the best of us at the most inopportune time. Glad to hear though that in spite of these things is working themselves out. Best of luck with the move and hope the changes pan out well.

Vicki it is very worrying when those closest and dearest to us endure these life threatening moments. Know that we are all thinking and praying for you all. Sorry that I have been a bit slow with putting a picture up of the latest centre that I received however I also have had to deal with a “life’s event moment” and had to leave promptly for my parents home to assist them for a week or so as it was thought my Mother had a torn tendon in one of her shoulders. My father has Parkinson’s and she is his carer so off I went to help. I took up to the city for the specialist visit and thankfully if isn’t a torn tendon but rather calcification which is painful enough in its own right. Anyway to cut a long story short I am now home again and will once I am settled take pictures to post. Have not started work on this latest centre myself.

WOW...we are all falling apart or at least our DH/family is. Margaret's husband is battling cancer been in the hospital for three weeks. My DH had back surgery last Wednesday...needless to say I am not getting much sewing done either. Prayers and heart felt thoughts go out to everyone for speedy recovery or just plain feeling better from Arkansas.

    Hello Ladies,

Well as you know have been for a few days now due to my having to visit the Dr for results. Things have been a little hectic here and so no photos to show yet.

How is every one else coming along or dare I not ask? The centre in my possession is not talking. Have no idea what I will do with her although I am considering keeping it simple this round so as not to make it appear way too busy.

Time will tell and I can only hope that something will inspire me in the next week as it is my intention to complete the centre and post it by the end of the month as I have to return to my parents place on the 29th.

Good luck on your results from the doctor. I hope things are going well with your parents. Take care. Kay

Ladies it seems that I must be the bearer of bad news today...Marghar50...Margaret's husband Bob lost his battle with cancer Sunday, May 22nd. She needs all our good thoughts and prayers since her world is upside down right now.

Little update on my DH...he had his surgery May 11th and everything seems to be going along as it should...the main problem is his is not 35-40 anymore so it takes longer to heal, but he is doing fine.
