I really .like how mine is turning out. I don't have anything purple, but I got backing for this top in Lancaster in March when I was there for the quilt show that is a purple floral. So I will have no excuse not to get it done when it finally arrives home!

OK, so I get to the post office and who knew they were closed today for the holiday weekend?!? So I apologize that this center won't be mailed to Jackie until TUESDAY. Gives you a little more time to unpack, I guess.

I can add a photo from my own pictures file but am clueless when it comes to adding them from an email. thank you for adding the photo that I forwarded. I am still waiting for it to arrive here. Looking at the picture reminded me that I also remain devoid of ideas as to what I should do next. :(

Hello Kay,
I have received the centre, you have done a beautiful job with it.
Was starting to fret that something had happened to it when I came home from my quilting day out to this lovely surprise. Thank you.
I shall need to hand it for a couple of days to see what comes to me for this new challenge.

Glad you finally got it...I thought it turned out nice...I hope Vicki will like it when it gets home. I have more than one idea running in my brain for the last round of yours...I love the fabric in the center and would like to know where you got it and if I can order some of it on line. It really amazes me how beautiful all these centers have become...for "first rounders" we are doing a pretty darn good job!!! Everyone take care and I will look forward to seeing all of the tops complete even before they are quilted.

Gosh I do not know if that fabric is still available but I will go and have a look in my stash when it becomes light enough to see what it is called and by whom.
It sure will be interesting to see how all the centres have morphed into lovely tops and I am very interested in seeing the finished items also.

Is everyone finished and ready to mail August 15th? I have the fabric picked out...cut and will start construction this weekend. I want to be ready to mail by the first...my August gets really crazy...lots of birthdays and reunions that are a must to attend. I was really trying to get Maybe1days completed since I got it but stuff happens.
