I received Mish's center some time ago. I have actually made my border already. However it is not attached yet. I have both pinned to my design wall so I can look at it every day.I have plenty of time so if I get a better idea I can always do something else. My quilt guild has a lending library so I always have several books at home for inspiration.

Dorrell Ann - I mailed today, and the PO says it should be to your PO Box by Thursday. Let me know when it gets there. :)
I now have a pretty D9P on my design wall, and I've bought some Moda fabric. Start talking, Dawnette's center, start talking!

Dawnette - quick question... does it matter which way the center is oriented? I have a print that, if I use it, I would prefer it to be read (there are little words on it). So... in the photo you posted on the big thread for the IRR, is that the way you want it? Ot should I flip it a different way?

I like it oriented the way it is in the photo. However this is suppose
to be an adventure. If you have a vision that requires a different
orientation, go for it, your're the artist. There are many lessons to learn from this experience and the first is letting go of control. I'm sure whatever you do will be great.

Checking in on you ladies.
Seems everything is in order and going smoothly so far?
Please, PLEASE, PLEASE...take your time on the borders. The first border may ONLY be a small one, but you never know, you might decide AFTER you put the border on that you have another idea.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND EARLY UNLESS IT IS GOING OVERSEAS!!! WE DO NOT WANT ANYONE TO GET BACKED UP BY SOMEONE SENDING AND SENDING BECAUSE THEY ARE DONE. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN! IT'S NOT A CONTEST TO SEE WHO CAN BE DONE THE QUICKEST!!

Hey Sisters! Are we going to set a rule at all, about when we should post pictures of the borders we've done? Because if someone finishes early, it may make others feel late when they are really on time, know what I mean? (I am SO not looking at myself here... really. ) So maybe we should post a picture when it's time to mail, along with the info that it's gone out? That'd kind of group all the photos in one spot as the thread progresses, too. What do you guys think?
