    Ducky:

Snow, mtns.,water, elk, cowboys, cattle, fish, Maroon Bells, fourteeners (duh, same as mtns.). You have lots to choose from.

How was Echters? Was my favorite greenhouse. Went often.

similar.. yes.. first posts I read stated city, state or country you are from... Not sure what the "true rules" are at this point.

I love going to Echter's. I spent way too much. I looked for the hybrid blue or purple poinsettias, but only "odd" colored ones were sprayed. So I got a beautiful deep burgundy one for my MIL and a salmon speckled cream one for a friend. But I got for me: 2 African Violets, one A.V. pot, and a white Christmas cactus.

My two cents gang...don't "overthink" this one. The idea is to make a DQ that represents your state, city, country...whatever you want to do. For example, I would think if there's something special that you area is known for, then it might be obvious. If it's not so obvious, then you have lots of selection. If you want to chose your "birth" state, then that's what you do!! Just make it something that represents where you are from. EG, a Canadian could do a Maple Leaf to represent their flag...or snow...or something more esoteric (did I spell that right?)...The idea is to have FUN!!

Guys...I had a thought today (I know, that in itself is shocking... ), but if you want some easy ideas about your state...look at the back of your state's quarter. Lots of symbols there!

I just signed up. I've been looking forward to this swap ever since the theme idea was chosen. I am just having trouble selecting which of several themes to use! Fun!
