Louisiana will be fun -- it's Mardi Gras time right after xmas. And we have bayous, gaters, very large bugs, New Orleans, spicy food, LSU, NO Saints, and etc. Hard to narrow down.

Who knew years later they would be dragging 6inches of hem on the ground LOL

Ok, I am new to the site. What are you guys talking about? I feel like I am reading a site from Mars. I would like to get involved with something fun. Am new to quilting. Can someone so new do this. I would need a little direction on this. Sheila

Yes SHeila please join us. We go off on tangents quite often. No need to follow them. Most of us get lost a couple of times an hour. This is a Doll quilt swap. Go to page one and read the very first entry on this thread. It should give you all of the details you need, however if you have any other questions, we will be happy to help you here. Welcome.

Yep, page one of this thread has the details. And any of the veterans (i.e., my angels and posters!) can answer any questions you have. We banter about all things fun during these swaps.

In a nutshell, this is a fun doll quilt swap for quilters of any level. There's a theme for January to make a quilt representative of your city, state, or country. If you'd like to join us, let me know. I can guarantee you will have fun!

So far, we have 64 swappers for January! Woo hoo! I think we may beat our record of 66! Long live the doll quilt swap! LOL!
