Yes, Amma, I too would open up the side of my pants and add more fabric in! We are two peas of pod eh?? I wish I had some photos of those pants - they were so cute!!

My daughter is way into peace symbols for jewelry and t-shirts, so it's very "in" right now.

sewjoyce and esqmommy....thanks so much for the site....I thanked you earlier without your names so who would know what or who I was thanking. It is off on the last page I believe as this will probably be.

Wish the reply would come out right under the place you are replying to...does that make sense???

Anyway that State site is just great so thanks so much...Hugs SG

Oh...I had my Mom add in the extra fabric into the bell bottoms for me...I've always hated sewing....now I did embroider (by hand...no machines then) flowers and peace symbols all the way up the leg though ;)

All you need to do is hit "quote reply" and it will come out like this so everyone know which post you are referring to!

And you're welcome for the state symbols site. Handy for coming up with ideas!

I'm in for the quilt swap....I wasn't sure this was the right thread....I found the fabric I wanted so now I can sign up.

I didn,t like the skirt bottom pants....I liked the med wide, probably because I was short and they make you look squatty...tall and thin was for this style ;-)
