Themes should be optional, but it's nice to have something to fall back on when the creative juices get a little dry. It's nice to have a starting point and take it from there. Sometimes I need a "nudge".

Like the idea of a separate thread for pix -- now I just have to remember it.

Does this mean there will be a dual posting of the photos, on this site and the photo page? I think it would be great to have both postings, then those who want to quickly look through the quilts can, and those who want to see the comments, can see them here. And here, a page number of the quilt could be posted, for quicker viewing of an individual quilt on the photo page. Or would that be asking too much?

Sounds like a plan to me Janis! Hopefully I'll remember when I post the quilt I receive! Keep me straight, Janis!

Love the thread for pics only...maybe we can behave and only post the pic and not lots of chatter....we seem to struggle with that though  I know I'll probably never remember to include a page # in this thread for the other thread pic post.

OK--My doll quilt has gone from ideas in my head--to drawn on paper and now it is almost ready--have to put the binding on--and write a little story about it and the area I live in so it will make sense.
All I need is my partner to send me her address so I can mail it--hopefully next week.

It was fun--this is the first time I have ever done anything like this--and want to do it again.

Knotsew, yours will go out on Monday....I hope you like it...have had a cold for a week and can't shake it. I needed to get things done LOL, my GS's came from VA on the 29th and promptly hit Michigan and got the flu...recovered fast but missed a couple of days of their VT. MIchigan is a bed of germs right now.
