My quilt is FINALLY started! I had a very specific fabric I needed, and the only time I could get to the quilt shop that had it was on Thursday evenings (only time it was open when I wasn't at work). I've tried for the past 5 weeks to get there...but really bad roads a week ago, then New Years Eve and Christmas Eve and another bad Thursday night put my trip on hold. I got there last night, the fabric was washed tonight and cutting stitching starts Saturday! I hope to complete it this weekend.

I rushed in, tore it open, and look what I got!!! A GORGEOUS little gem of a quilt from Sandpat, and guess what else.....bearded iris are my absolute FAVORITE flower!!! Thanks so much, Sandpat....this is a very special little quilt to me!! (I also posted in the Pictures post for these quilts). Love it, LOVE it!!!! Janice

So, since I have already received, I can't whine this time!! Ha-HA!! I will be starting on my little one this week, since my quilt top is done for our guild show, and I can only quilt it at my friend's house on Monday and Saturday. So, that leaves me time to get to work on Sandpat's little quilt. Hope you like it!! I'm doing another machine applique, since my quilt came out so good!! I like doing it!! I'm excited!!

I got an e-mail and this pattern is offered for free, so I thought I would post it in case someone is having trouble with finding a pattern.....
