Don't forget black lights and some of the best rock and roll of all time. Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis and the bands that came out of that era. I was born in 55 so I grew up in the 60s. I started high school in 69 and graduated in 73.
My future DH went to Viet Nam in 68. (didn't know him then)
Carol Burnett Red Skelton Saturday morning cartoons Long skirts and yes I had bell bottom pants. Also adding strips of wild patterned fabric to the ends of the pant legs. And inbetween the seams. Beehive hairdos. My mom wore one of those. Sweater sets were in vogue then too.

Glad the 60's were so fun for everyone! I remember them, too. Good times and bad, it was quite a ride. Isn't that what life is? You take it all, but remember best the good things.

    Norbanaquilts,
I got mine! It's AWESOME. I LOVE IT. I can't believe you did that. I feel so special. Can you post a picture for me? I have been bad at finding time to post the pictures lately. If you can't I will try to do it this weekend. Did I tell you I LOVE IT? LOL

I'm so glad it made there in time for your "big" day and that you love it. I was worried because it wasn't a complicated one. I can post pics tonight for you.

Great job on your quilt Esq. You really made a funky little quilt. Looks like you had fun doing it. I'm having flashbacks. . .
