Got my December DQ yesterday from cuppy. It also had a charm pack and some thank you notes. Thank you! I had to sit out for Jan due to upcoming back surgery but hopefully will be able to join you in February.

beautiful work on that binding. love to see the whole doll quilt

I am going to go with it for you dragonfly and hope it makes you happy. I use them on the table for the most part for the holiday coming then they go on the sewing room wall. best art out there. small or large. small is good for a side table and large for the big one I just was thinking embelishments and if I add them they are fine for a wall but a table ifyou try to put a glass on something with say beads well it will topple so that is why I asked. I dont have any dolls or teddys to put these with. does anyone actually do that? I mean they are called doll quilts.. today if finish my project here and then be ready to start the next one. better get off line it works so much better that way this fnishing stuff!

Elisabrat - I hope you don't mind embellishments as I have a bunch planned for yours - will put a hanger on the back for you so you can hang it - in the closet if you don't like it

Paul you crack me up. I am so easy to please its not funny. I just love the whole swap thing. Embellish away. I am good to go with that. and they never hang in the closet they are on the wall near my fabric shelves. all together different dq's different seasons and styles and they all work like a collage.. cool.

I am sewing the back of the binding on and your DQ is done TADA! not too bad after all. like I thought it was bad lol no its not super fancy but it was a challenge never the less for me. I kept picking out seams get it right/ yes sew it together ah heck those two are reversed. pick out six seams.. fix it resew take a pic ah heck that one is completely reversed why a camera picks up what the eye does not amazes me.

Wow - you are way ahead of me - still sewing on yours. Hope to have it finished by Monday.
I use the camera trick myself - amazing what it sees that we do not.

that's because the camera has no ego and no sense of being right or wrong. in the simplest sense, it just is. removed from the thing itself and distanced from our pride, we can see it in a picture. so simple! and so truthful. only with our help can a camera lie!

Robin, I like purple with green and yellow, it reminds my of Mardi Gras.
I have finally decided on my design for you. Now to get started on it. I just had the Christmas stuff taken to the garage today. Still trying to get things back in some order so I can sew.
My husband has decided he needs a new wallhanging for his room since I took down the Christmas one. Think I'll do something with some dragon fabric I found in my stash.
