I get dropped all the time and have to log in all over again. If not logged in, I don't get updates. Crazy and inconsistent.
Was worried about you, Nancia -- haven't heard anything and didn't see you on the Feb DQ signup. Wondered if you were ok.

Just got delivery of a replacement mattress. The first one we ordered was like sleeping in a bouncy room. If someone sighed, you'd go boinging all over the place. Thank goodness Bob's had a program where if you don't like it after 30 days, let them know and get something else. I sure hope we like this one. It's memory foam, which I'm not too sure about, but time will tell.

As for those stinky dogs, I can't keep them off the bed. And the worse part is that they take up the whole thing! Feeney is like a giant warm log. Once he finds his spot, you can't move him for the world. Daisy is another story. She alternates her "must have's" for sleep. If it is very cold, she MUST crawl under the quilt and attempt to sleep between my legs. Not my favorite thing at all. Not. Alternately she takes over the middle pillow and sleeps with her butt in one of our faces. That is, except when Rod gets up to use the bathroom. Then she takes over his pillow. When he returns, she growls and tries to bite him. There has to be an easier way to sleep.

Krystyna, I feel understand the lack of bed space due to those lovable mutts! It is amazing how much room they can take and then become like cement logs you can't move! We are looking for a new mattress and I told my husband we should go Calif King and maybe, just maybe there would be enough room for me and him to sleep as comfortable as the dogs do! lol I doubt it though.

Look what arrived this morning, my gorgeous DQ from buslady and oh my there is so much work gone into this beauty. I love the fabrics and the gathering strip, how on earth did you do that buslady. Second photo is all the extra goodies that came with the DQ, some lovely fabrics, a monthly calendar planner and pen and some candy which I will need to hide from DH. Thanks again Onalee for being such a great swap partner.

I am so glad you like it. I had a ball making it. And added to my stash, it was necessary to get some fabric that would work just perfect with my idea. LOL That's my story.

I received my DQ from Robin today. love the red and tan together. It looks like the harlequin prints
that are used during Mardi Gras. Love the tiny porcelain doll, (we discovered we both collect dolls). Then there
was a DQ pattern (fcalled the Evening Star), a bee's wax needle thingy. She also sent me M&Ms. It was great
fun to be her partner this month. She finished the quilt with a blue backing that she brought to the front and finished the quilt. She also included a very pretty 'lacy qpplique on the front of the quilt.

Thanks for posting both your quilt and mine. I'll forgive you for no label, looks like you have your
cramping little hands full with the wedding quilt.
    Thanks again.

What wonderful quilts! Love them so much! Onalee is that light blue gathered?

Lisa, we have a King. Don't know if it's from California or not but I feel like I'm sleeping on a football field. And despite the size, there is no room for all of us thanks to those stinkers!

Prayers for tomorrow, please! We are meeting a new lawyer - who will hopefully tell us he can extract the max from the insurance companies -- and then the SBA guy who will hopefully tell us that we can borrow enough to put up a modular home. Or ... we will eventually be living in the garage!

i am alive and well, finally! just re-current bouts of whatever it was, and i was dropped for not talking enough--oh, my! prepare for the apocalypse!! never thought THAT day would come, lololololol!!! anyway, i've been snowed under and am taking february off to catch up! last night and into this a.m. worked on nancy's dq. will do more tonight. i am working during vampire hours and no interruptions. yup, i'm a night owl and it takes nothing to get me back into the dark. dh likes when i am in the bed while he sleeps, and whither i goest there goest the animals, too, so i watch shows on netflix. i prefer to be sewing but sometimes that's not an option. once in a while the animals spill over to his side then he just pushes them back. my 20yr old cat sleeps on my shoulder and head, tiger sleeps on the other side and the dogs fill in any gaps. sure is cozy! may be part of the reason i don't sleep much at night. they are all so spoiled they wouldn't dream of sleeping in their own beds if i'm in bed.
