    Hi Sue and Marion,

I have you on the list... good to see you joining in again. Sue, good luck for your operation... I am sure we will have contact before then though.

    Hugs

    Caroline

Well, not to make anyone feel like they are late ( which you are not) but I worked on my runner and finished it today. I been working for the last couple days on it. Just a few hours here and there. Anyway here is a sneak peek of it. My 2 colors are obviously gray / yellow.

Lovely teaser, Mary -- I love daisies. However, I see three colours - white, grey and yellow. Lovely combination. So just to clarify, we can use three if one of them is white? I have some red-black-white fabric. Would that count as just two colours?

Way back in the olden days... when I was in school.... I was taught white was a neutral not a color so is black . They are either absent of color or all colors in one. So I take it as being just 2 colors. OK lesson over. Remember this was over 55 yrs ago. I know things change. lol. Hope this is OK???? I would count your fabric as 2 colors also. Sounds pretty.

Thank you. It's still really early in the swap. Everyone has lots of time. I usually like to get started and done early to be sure it's ready in time. I tend to put things off at times. lol.

Thanks for the clarification. I know about white and black not being colours, scientifically, but usually in quilting, white and black are spoken of as colours. I'm on the fence about this swap since postage costs have gone up again. But if white and black are not considered colours for this swap, then I might use this as my focus fabric -- I guess technically it is only one colour. It's a 1 yard piece I've had for several years and I haven't found a use for it.
