OK, group. Here's who we have. A great group, indeed, however not quite as big as I had hoped for. If we go ahead with the swap with 5 people with each of us making 32 blocks (16 light/dark and 16 dark/light) then we will each receive 5 to 6 blocks from the same person. So - - - what does the group want to do??

Please chime in and let me know.

Jane, I'm going to try to join this as well. I have lots of fabrics and scraps to use up. And, I have always wanted to try this quilt. So, count me in.

I already started, I needed to get them done early so I can concentrate on a christening gown for my new GD. Using my wedding dress and have never sewed this type of fabric before. I will need all the time I can get and not mess this up. Fingers crossed. So only have 13 more to go.

Gannyrosie, Congrats on your new little joy! Good luck with the Christening Gown. It will truly be special. What a great way to upcycle your wedding gown into something so unique.

Gannyrosie, you're amazing! I'm getting better at my PPing but I'm certainly as quick as you. What a wonderful idea for the christening gown. I'm sure it will be beautiful. Hope you share pictures.

I will Jane, it may not be till end of Feb. Have 13 more blocks to go. Which they would have finished by now, but this big puppy of mine sits by my sewing room door and cry like a baby for me to go play. Why did I ever get a dog at my age?

LOL - - - my pet days are in the past. I've had my share of dogs & cats over the years.
