hi, interesting... where in Scotland were their families from? I’ve lived not 10 minutes away from Loch Lomond for the last 30 odd years (and 25 minutes away from Glasgow)
My distant relatives came from Scotland also but migrated south to England eventually which is where I’m from but married and moved North across the border in the late 80’s.
I love it here and I’m happiest up in the mountains on a fine day ⛰🚶🏼‍♀️👣

Pulled some fabrics to audition with Macybaby's quilt. I'll wait for daylight to make a decision.

I can’t believe it, I visited Loch Lomond when I was there a few years ago, we had ice cream at Thornton’s or Caffe at the Shores and sat outside by the aquarium which was closed the day we visited. It is so amazingly beautiful there, I can understand exactly why you say you are happiest up in the mountains. it’s such a small world. Hugs!

Mr Moose is complete. I haven't done a lot of applique in the last several years, this was fun.
I wish I had an embroidery machine I would have added a couple of birds, maybe cardinals.
I'll be starting CarrieM group 2 quilt soon.
I was going to add a brown border but decided to let Reba do that if she wanted to.

Only 1 time have I seen a moose. It was in Evergreen Colorado on the golf coarse with his harem. It was a beautiful site and so unexpected with the town encrouching on the coarse. & his territory. Gives a new meaning to "play through".

Default Liore’s Quilt border done :-)

Hey Round Robinettes, this birdie is ready to fly! Liora (MMonohon’s granddaughter) loves dinosaurs, thistles, hiking, & orange cats, so I make her some hiking boots, her kitties Elton & Primus with kitty collars that have dinosaur charms, a thistle, and it leaves a little love in her tracks. Hugs!
