a cart full of groceries, first off my dh goes food shopping. lucky me. you can fill the kiddie seat for what a cartfull used to cost. you'd need a great calculator to fill the whole cart. what do you think about $300-400 for a full cart of food nowadays??? coldcuts, OMG. meat OMG. making a brisket for dinner next sunday. dh said it cost to much, we could go out for what that darn brisket will be. sad but true.

That's great that you got your computer back for that price. I just had mine fixed over the phone and that was $80. I don't know what I would do without a computer. I agree that the food prices have really gone up and just recently. I couldn't believe that a dozen of eggs was selling for $2. It's down to $1.89 and $1.68 but even that is high. Meat here is really high so I never buy steak and usually the meat I do buy is from where they butcher their own steers and they don't use preservatives. Their 50 lb beef and chicken package used to be $150 and now it's $194. Milk has come down some but I look for the sales. I had to get groceries as I hadn't really done any since it was so cold last week and now I'm getting snow tonight and all day tomorrow. Roast beef from the deli is $7.99/lb. But at least the gas is down. I paid $1.80 yesterday and could have gotten it for $1.72 but I had done enough driving at that point.

The theme for February will be Valentines Day. It will be for EITHER a pc OR a nc. The next time we do sets will be in April for Easter. If someone wants to do a set, that it totally up to you. It is not a requirement. Is everyone onboard with this? Let me know if you have a problem.

I already did Valentine's because if somone can't mail until the very end of the swap, it's to late and after the holiday. I really guessed wrong, figured next month might be St. Patty's Day.

We can pick a color such as green to go with St. Patricks so that you have a choice of themes for March. OR It's my birthday month and ya all can make me pin cushions !!!

I was thinking the same thing Mary....about the green, not about your birthday! Only kidding!!! Seriously, why don't we make March's theme green. That way it can be for either St. Patrick's Day or not, just so it's green. Any objections?

I hate winter, and I hate snow. I had to go out and shovel at 6 this morning as my DGD was coming here at 7. It was about 4" and really heavy. There was no school today so at least I didn't have to go out but I did have to go back out and shovel and will have to again when it finally stops snowing. I'm too old for this. I almost have my pc top done for next month. This is a first.

Everyone have a great day and keep warm
