Roserips I hope you keep feeling a bit better as you go along. It's hard to do things when you are not feeling well.

Beautiful swap packages, Roserips. Praying for you to have peace. Depression is not fun. Big hugs from someone who has walked that road, too.

nhnative -- nice hexes! How big are they? I like to make those little ones (the smaller, the better). Of course, I started, I think, with 2" ones, then went down to 1-1-1/2", now I'm working on 3/4" hexes. I haven't done anything with them -- just making them! They're addictive, like potato chips. They appeal to my need to use up (almost) every bit of fabric, I guess. I have some ideas on what to do with them, but we shall see. (Okay, not much of a mystery there!) Thanks for sharing the photo. It's a mug mat, right? Nice work!
roserips -- I thought I responded to your close-up of your pc/nc, but I don't see it, so I must've dreamt it! Anyway, nice snowman fabric & cute items! Love them!

Just so you don't think I'm going crazy (okay, maybe I am), my hubby & I spent our Saturday night fighting computer viruses at the cost of $400. I'm sure my blood pressure was up along with the stress level. But, hey, we survived & the computer is now fine!

These hexies are 3/4". It is a doll blanket for my NH friend for her 5 1/2" dolls that she crochets outfits for. I also started a hexie wallhanging with the 3/4" ones too. I have 4 doll quilts that are bigger but not finished. I love doing them. It's almost like we'll pay anything as long as the computer gets fixed. Can't be without our computers. I really need a new one but I don't want one with Windows 8.
Crazy weather here. First it was raining and then sleeting and then snowing and then nothing and now the sun is somewhat out. It's been 36 all day.
    Everyone have a great day

I am working on postage stamps right now. Cutting them out of left over small pieces to begin a postage stamp quilt (1 1/2" is what most do). I think the result is beautiful. I then plan to have them sewn into block sizes, and each block with a thin framing solid around them to make the quilt. I seen some done that way, and the quilt is beautiful. I know it will take a long time, but I will always have some to work on, and it's relaxing at night to work on them while watching tv. I plan to hand sew them.

Have a great day everyone. It is in the upper 50's here today, just a gorgeous day. I better enjoy it while we have it. The sun is even shining.

Susan, it made it to 73 here, mid Oklahoma!! It's WINTER, hello???? Waiting on more cold & SNOW weather.. Just too warm - and so far a total of 8 fires going right now. Windy, warm weather & fires....not Winter in my opinion...;o(
