Ladybug 1938

It got to 70 here this morning was 45 when we went to church this morning, came home did a few things and took a hour nap finished sewing the binding on the baby quilt and then took another hour nap... Starting to feel much better but need the sleep evidently... Lynnie what kind of pictures so you want???? tomorrow???

Good to know I'm not the only one doing those 3/4" hexes! I'm really enjoying making them. What's easier, after all?? Oh, I did some postage stamp ones 'way back, but never did anything with them. Hexes are so much more fun! I have a wooden doll cradle that I keep saying needs a quilt ... maybe I'll make one for it ... one of these days!

You guys are terrible!!! You got me making 3/4" hexes. I never made a hexie before. Now I'm hooked!!!

Lynnie. I wanted to post some pictures taken with my new camera.(HUBBY GOT ME FOR Christmas) I finally got a memory card for it last weds. took a few pictures went to post and the cord that goes from the camera to my computer has the wrong size connector. Now I need to get a new one of those. Seems like every elect. gizmo has to have a charger or power cord of it's own style. Just like every make and model of car has a different size and shape of battery. Seems unnecessary to me .Why can't my camera,ipod,cellphone kindle etc. be the same? Whew I feel better now.lol Sorry about the tantrum.lol

Jean I hate hearing of all those fires. My father use to help fight the fires that would go on around here during spring and fall. The weather sure is crazy isn't it?

Ctyankee, the little hexi doll quilts would look nice in the cradle. I have a little wooden rocking chair for like a big doll I plan to set next to the fireplace and want to make a little mini to drape across it. A miss bunny doll is sitting in it right now with her dress on. lol...

Well guess what I printed out some hexies last night so I too am going to start on them, wich I had used sturdier paper, may look for some in my bookcase, bought the elongated hexies and may do those and cut some fabric today asa I have to sit all day again today... driving me up the preverbal wall... May try to put the binding on one side of the big quilt, okay Lynnie will take a picture of the baby quilt, it's cute....

I received the most adorable chicken pin cushion and basket needle case from Melanie Eicher! They are in a fabric I adore and both are beautiful. I will post pictures very soon, but wanted to ask if anyone knows Melanie's board name? Melanie, are you out there? lol I want to send you a PM!

With those 3/4" hexies I am assuming you are hand stitching them?

Only thing I want to hand stitch is yo-yos using the makers LOL.

Just the thought of trying to work on some that small give me a
headache LOL.

I am mailing tomorrow. Been working on something embroidered
for my partner and it has given me a few "issues" in making it look
good enough. PLUS it is also personalized for her.
