I got email confirmations that the 2 packages I mailed on Tuesday
was delivered today.

One went west to my secret pc/nc partner, the other went southeast
to someone who had a birthday last month.

LADIES I received my beautiful pkg from quilty-lousie today and wowza the squishy was packed!!! Pretty pc that looks like a floral hat with goodies inside the jar, a lavender shopping list, 2 worf search puzzle books, a pkg of floral buttons, a Colorado 2015 calendar, and a very pretty nc in lavendars with my name embroidered on it, comes with a comoklete set of tools for hand embroidering,,,, yep even purple sicissors, and the little tiny hear snap to hold them in is purple. My favorite color is anything lavender and LOUISE found lots of lavender treasures to send. SO PRETTY.... best yet the pkg. arrived today which has been a rough day. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT PICK ME UP!!!!!!

I received a delightful package today from SewExtremeSeams. A little blue mousie came my way along with a lovely floral themed needle book that even has pockets inside to keep other notions. She also included a large spool of thread in a lovely blue, tea, and candy. Thank you so very much, Linda.

Rosemary your quilts are awesome, love the hand quilting. I'll have to try 3/4" hexies. Love the little yoyos too. What size are the yoyos? The mouse is adorable. Joann wishing you well and praying for you. I haven't been feeling well the last couple of days. I was exhausted yesterday and have had slight chest pains all day. My FIL got out of the hospital, two days later back in the ER. He has so many medical problems. DD and I both have Dr. Appts tomorrow, glad we aren't getting snow until Sat.

Here are photos of the goodies I sent to Jan.

As she said I loaded a padded envelope just for her.

For the pincushion I used a extra small canning jar
as the base. Took jumbo yo-yo's to make the "top"
of the jar.

I tried to incorporate as much lavender/purple as I could.


The needle book is machine embroidered and says
"Jan's needle & thread book"

The pincushion contents are:

1)mini scissors (and I mean MINI, they won't cut fabric,
but they do cut thread).
2) purple retractable tape measure.
3) lavender 14" zipper

Pocket for needle threader, thimble or beeswax
loop for holding scissors, and place to stick pins
or needle.

Here is some of the items included in the needle book.
Needle threader, thimble, beeswax, red felt circles for
the sewing machine, and a homemade wood stiletto
wrapped with purple cohesive tape.
