Aw, Happy almost New Year!! Thanks for the concern guys. All is well. Just over extended myself a little during the holidays. And, I knew I couldn't mail by the deadline. All will be good by the next month. I'm just sorry I had to miss out on the fun. But, I'll still come by to tease and look in on all of you.

Hi Krystyna. Your son's name is almost the same as my son's middle name: Braze. He uses it as part of his stage name when he is playing in a band. The full stage name is Braze Gun. I totally love the doll. You know I think that she is a quilting zombie doll. The aprons are very cute. If you get my name it would be very cool. It would be cooler If I got your name. Belinda you are in the right spot your SP will love helping you build up you quilting stash.

I received this message from Lori a few minutes ago. As she was having difficulty posting, I offered to let everyone know what news she had to share with us.
"Let me tell you about the god news for Marty: They did a bone marrow biospy thursday and we were not suppose to hear anything for about 2 weeks, but the Dr who did the test couldn't stand it and went to the lab himself and "eyeballed it" as he said. In sept she had 40% active cancer cells in her bone marrow, Thursday she had 10%!!!! I hope he was good at his eyeballing! We will know the offical percent for sure on Wed. Isn't that great news?"

Have company coming today to eat. The roast has cooked all night on 250. Greens are cooked,only rice,cornbread and tomato gravy left and the hopinjohns will be done! I hope everyone has a Great day!!

Robyn, where did you get the name Braze? Interesting. Blaze is the name of a saint who is sort of the patron saint of the heimlich maneuver - he saved a boy choking on a fish bone by placing crossed candles over his throat and that's why we get our throats blessed on his feast day.
Quilting Zombie? Hmmmm. Sometimes I feel like a quilting zombie. I will have to make one who is more quilty than that. Yes, monster softies are very popular. There are several books on them and a quarterly magazine called Stufft. Now what should I name her? I think I will make more of them for sale on Etsy. A nice break from veil making.
