im looking forward to seeing your pics. for the many who participated in the new year day mystery quilt, there are very few pics posted on the thread. i wish i had a friend who had a long arm that i could send all of my quilt tops to be quilted and returned. i would be so happy or even if i had access to a longarm and knew how to do it, maybe that would be some fun. but alas i have neither so away to a container goes my tops waiting for the day they will be quilted. i even have some that are pin basted waiting for their day. i can only tell them soon.

I am on the final step of borders. Will post pics as soon as they are both done. DD is just beginnning to longarm, did a good job on her first one. She says I have to longarm mine, but I don't like to do it. She if forcing me, I am going to practice first and if it looks awful then I will quilt it on my sewing machine.

We tried to surprise Melissa this morning with party tooters and balloons and cupcakes with candles ... but instead she was surprised with the smoke alarm screeching her awake. Well, nice to know they work.
