Do we really have 70 people that haven't received their packages?

Please look here------------->http://www.quiltingboard.com/group_a...jsp?gracnum=97 and let me know if you have received your package and have not told me or posted here about it.

Thank you, Ginnie6. The material will fill in beautifully with the fall colors in the blocks I'm getting in the monthly block exchange.

    And, here's the photo, too!
Yay! So glad it got there! I am a worry wart and the PO was crazy when I went in Tuesday. I'm glad you like everything too!

I have been spending more than $10 because I didn't want my pal to be disappointed when everyone else gets such awesome pkgs. I think your idea to send only one FQ, one novelty and one sweet is fair and will enable the swaps to keep going without problems. I vote for that! Just sayin'. LOL

My package arrived this morning. I had just back from the post office from sending mine. Sorry, I'm a bit late but mine is now on its way to my SP :-( I hope they enjoy it as I had a lot of help from a class I am teaching - all of them over 16 and have some form of learning disability. My class had the time of their life and loved doing it, but it took a long, long time.

Gramabiese you excelled yourself. It was soooo exciting to open it and all those lovely fabrics fell out and the kit to make a fabric bowl and coasters.... and the gorgeous bitter chocolate.

I am so excited and keep stroking the fabrics and for once it's to heck with the chocolate!!!!

It's quite late here so I will take a photo and post it tomorrow after shopping for the February swap! I will be earlier next time.

I think we all sign up because we want the fun of shopping for someone, and making new friends. If you signed up with the expectation of hitting the motherlode, then I think you signed up for all the wrong reasons. Personally, if I find things in my stash that I know I won't use and it fits the profile, I ship it. Makes room for more stuff I do want. These are just my thoughts and humble opinion.

I think it's very difficult to figure out what everyone spends. When you send fat quarters from your stash, it's really a minimal amount because it's usually left from something you've made before. Also, it's easy to send magazines that you've looked at that someone else might like, and also lots of us pick up things on sale or at the dollar store or whatever. If we just post positive thoughts, be happy with our packages each month, etc., then it should all work out well. It's such a fun swap.
