This looks like so much fun I'm going to sign up for January! Can some of you share with me some experience here as to what you have received as well as what you have sent that was fun or memorable? Just to get me mentally motivated to do a really nice package for someone?
Thanks,
Janet

The secret pal swaps are so much fun and addicting, I started my first one in July and have done it every month since then. Fabric seems to be a most popular item (no kidding lol), handmade items from pin cushions, hot pads etc. Sewing notions are always good and practical. Books, patterns, notepads and such also are fun. When we get paired with a partner, we get the list of items our pal listed as favorites/least favorites, that is normally a lot of help as you get know favorite colors and other information. An of course, chocolate is always good.
Take a peek at the Dec secret pal swap thread, many photos are posted and you can get many ideas.

Welcome, glad you joined, you will meet wonderful, helpful, creative, talented, beginner, intermediate, excellent quilters and most of all human beings on this site. Congratulations on taking the plunge. Look forward to seeing your 1st quilted piece. What are you working on. You should post some pics so we can take a peek. We all love pictures of other peoples work.

go to that place. then look up in the top left corner where it says http://www.quiltingboard.com/ blah, blah, blah just copy that and paste it where ever you want it so we can see it. It should post as a link (will print in blue ink w/underline) then we just doubleclick it and we are there. Hope this helps
