    What are rolling black outs. We had a total white out 2 days ago with all the snow. You could not see across the street or next door.

    rolling black outs are when the electric company randomly turns off electricity in a neighborhood or area for 15-45 minutes to help with demand for all the extra electricity people are using because of the ice storm and the extremely lower than normal temps...we've got them outside of Dallas also...had three of them yesterday...

    Here is what we woke up to this morning. My husband had to take my car because he couldn't get his truck out of the driveway. Sorry about the tacky look of the yards. We inherited my elderly in-laws place and they couldn't get around well enough to keep it up.

    We are getting snow today. All schools have closed. Wecould get 4" of the fluffy white stuff. Good day to sew.

    I heard Arlington and Dallas got around 7 inches in some areas
