July 2009 Doll Quilt Swap
#331
I received these two wonderful little doll quilts the later part of June. Iwanted everyone to get a chance to see the beautiful work of these two ladies. Carolinepaco's is all done by hand. She lives in the Netherlands. She sent me a card describing the meaning of each fabric choice - they didn't come off a bolt of fabric  . The stitching is a perfect 10 to the inch. "A stitch in time, saves nine." 10 to the inch is the goal and she does it perfectly.
MissM had to wait a long time for her quilt. I am still a little slow. But look at this. Such detailed piecing. Perfect corners and seams. She machine quilted it without even a hint of a pucker.
Thanks ladies, Gwyn

Oops, this is the 2009 swap. I'm going to ask admin to lock all the 2009 swaps. It's too easy to confuse them with 2010. Thanks for keeping the doll quilt swap going! :-D
