Well, the best laid plans ... blah, blah, blah ...

Thought I'd get a jump on making this month's doll quilt, but after reading about my partner and confirming my suspicions that is she not a frilly-sparkly-pink sort of gal ... I guess I'll be keeping this one -- at least for a while. I made it from tiny bits of sparkly metallic and brocade pink fabric samples with random embroidery across it, although the quilting is diagonal diamonds. It does have a simple binding, but I added lace with a cross stitch pattern in pink to attach it. I call it "Too Bad for You! One More for Me!"

You can't really tell from the photo but it is extremely sparkly!

Now on to the fun of making something special for her! YAY!

Ah, ah, Krystyna... allow me to introduce myself... I am all about pink! Hot pink is my very favorite color. In fact, about 60% of my blouses are hot pink of one value or another!

Just thought you would want to know in case you wanted to rename your quilt!! LOL

Cool colors and very cool quilt. I love the touch of lace on the edges. Sew beautiful.

    :-D

This is what being bored leads to and wanting to do anything but clean this room. Had a big box of ribbon now have a little doll quilt
