Thanks for the suggestions to pass the time at the PO! I've use that pattern several times. It always turns out nice and there are several ways to arrange the blocks to get different looks.

Rec'd my gift from JuanitaBean... It is wonderful... also included a pincushion and extra fabric(that I assume is for a sleeve should I decide to hang it)... I love it!!!! I am slower in my stitches but I will be sending one her way soon :)

    this resembles my avatar :)

Ooh, ooh, ooh. Yours is ready to go in the mail, but missed todays post office closing time (Saturday - noon). So, it will go on Monday. Maybe I won't open it until you get yours. (Or maybe I won't be able to wait...) I really hope you like it. I so enjoyed making it. My DH was design assistant on this one. I tried my first quilting of a pattern - made my own template. I tried my first two color binding (loved that). C'Mon Monday...

You don't have to wait. Open it today if you want to. (I hope you like it.) I love the 2 color bindings. Can't wait to see what you & your husband designed!

I am sure I will. I have the embroidery machine working right now and your DQ is waiting to be sewed. Had to get some funky farm blocks done for mailing on Monday. I should be able to finish yours tomorrow and mail on MOnday as well. I also have to finish a round robin and have it half sewed. I guess I need to get that featherweight up and running. That way I have two machines going at same time. Wow, production.
