I'm going to keep this on my breakfast room table every May for Memorial Day, every July for Independence day and every September for Labor Day. I plan to leave it there for the entire month each time. It's hard to see, but there are fireworks coming out from the corners and "Independence" is printed on one of the fabrics. The picture just doesn't do this baby justice. She also included some adorable fat quarters which I think I'll make hot pads or trivets out of. Way cute! And this adorable little pair of embroidery scissors will really come in handy. Sheryl, thank you for being my swap partner this month. I would feel honored to swap with you again.
Well done! I like your plan for using it too. :)

Gayle - I'm thrilled that you like it! And you figured out that I was trying for fireworks in the corners! Yay! I wasn't too sure. It was my inexperienced attempt at something besides straight stitching lol. Now every May, July & September I can think of my little quilt in its special place in your home. Thank you so much for being my swap partner. Hope we get to again sometime.

Now it is my turn to brag. This was Crazy Quiltn Robin's first swap and I was lucky enough to be her partner.

This little heart pounder arrived at my house today. I am calling it "Hearts of Friendship" Her hand applique on all the hearts is amazing!

She also sent me a beautiful dragonfly necklace that you can see next to the label.

Adorable! Love the name for it. We have so many talented people here. I love seeing everybody's quilts because it gives inspiration for the upcoming swaps. :)

A great quilt, Robin! The homespun binding and backing make it look so country!
