Again, some terrific quilts. You're right - so far, no two alike that I've seen. So neat to see them. Each one is a surprise for all of us. It's one of the best parts of doing this swap is watching them come in all month. Sooooo cute!

So what are we going to make for August? I have been mulling ideas over. I want to get mine done early so I can relax and watch them come in.

    Chele,
Are you still posting them on flicker? I love to look at them there because it's just the quilts.

Have fun making one! The only part I don't care for in making the DP9 is all the pressing....otherwise it is fun.

I got my doll quilt Jean!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!! Ok. now that is out of my system, let me post some pix. I got a delightful Sunbonnet Sue quilt from Jean. I love the blues and the stitching you did. I might do that stitching on my next quilt. Did you do that by hand? It's great!
She also sent me some corn fabric since I live in the middle of corn country! Isn't that the greatest?

I like that fabric, Bonnie!! My family were corn farmers in Central Missouri. Not many left though...they were my mom's parents and her siblings. My cousins didn't take it up! And that little SB Sue quilt is adorable!!

By the way, yours went in the post at the beginning of this week, but I have to send you a button, would you believe, I found it on my sewing table, I must have been in such a hurry to post the quilt that I forgot to sew the button on and it does need it, so that will be in the post tomorrow, sorry.
    Very cute sewing Sue!! :-)

I haven't been keeping up with the Flickr group, but it is fun to see all the quilts together.

Here's the quilt I sent JoAnnGC. All the quilts have been so fun this month. Let me know if you want to play again in August.

What a lovely, bright quilt-and I love the backing fabric! I'll be posting my DQ from Gladie soon! I love it, too.

A picture of the DQ that oksewglad made for ME! First of all, thank you so much-I love it. It is a traditional quilt made with civil war prints and I'm making the Farmer's wife quilt with similar type fabrics and only see ONE that is like any of mine, and I've a lot of them. She also sent me this matching mug rug, my first ever! And notice the tag label that is attached to the back! Also received some sweet note paper. What a lot of fun we've had-thanks again.
