That is a cute mug rug, and I also think that is the cutest tissue holder.

I searched on the web, and have a link to a download for this tissue holder. Am I allowed to add a link?

The "coloring" is done with good old crayola crayons, then heat set by placing a piece of fabric on top and heat with iron till you start to smell the wax, you do have to be careful not to burn it. The white fabric is left over from our county fair, have been doing it for years nice event, kind of works like this. It is something thát is a three year process, the first year they sell a fat quarter for five dollars, every year different themes, this year was flowers, then you have a year to make a square using thàt fabric following specific rules, the second year they are collected the week before the fair and then they are hung for all to see and vote on their favorite, the winner of that block favorite wins twenty five dollars, then for the third year the squares are assembled into quilts usually two quilts, a wall hanging and then a table topper, they are quilted by the local guilds, then the third year everything is hung and chances are sold, the winners getting the finished project and the money going to either charity or something to do with the fair, ribbons or things like that.

It's such a cheerful mug rug that I'll use for sure!! Unique sketched and colored-in flower complimenting a modern print fabric. A total surprise package from you! Great combo technique idea. What fabric color pencils did you use? Fantastic flowered shirt Kleenex holder. MEGA CUTE!!! Did you use a pattern-it is adorable love the pearl button. The quilter's safety pins are so welcomed. Delicious snack bar was perfect w my coffee. You just made my day!

Go for it, I have to be honest ladies, I didn't make the klenex holder, I received one from another swap and then went to a craft fair and they were there for $3 so I bought a bunch, thought they looked great.

I'm so excited . I received my Mug Rug from Debbyg. It's been sitting at out little Bigfoot PO. They've reduced hours and some days no one is there. But it's here and Debbyg. Outdid herself. Precious Mugrug , an embroidered towel, thread spool holder, , all kinds of goodies in my favorite color red. Thank you sweet quilting friend .

Nan62 -- beautiful mug rug you received! And lots of wonderful goodies!

We now have 27 sign-ups for August's At the Zoo. Anybody else want to join? Today's the last day, because tomorrow I will be posting partners. And since this is a partnered swap, we can't have odd numbers!

If need be, you could drop one of the doubles and tell them a second partner is just not available... or talk someone into two swaps who only has one right now.

I would hate anyone to miss the swap. I'm working on something right now -- & hoping it all works out!

But I will consider that for the future -- anyone wanting to do 2 swaps would depend on the number of participants. Yes, I think that's a brilliant idea, sewbizgirl! I just don't want to take anything away from someone at this point -- if I can help it! Thanks for your input!

I can understand that. Read my comment in the other thread... about a 'triangular' swap. Another idea to remedy the situation.
