Ube - stunning WH ... great job!

RhondaK - cockatiels can be big brats in little bodies!!!!! Echo's pretty laid back - but she's been with me for 19 years - so not much phases her LOL I've trained dogs in front of her, built shelves, used a drill, saw, etc. you name it, she's seen it or heard it! And she's still super healthy - no plucking, eats great and loves to hang out with me while I sew!

Armylady - so glad you are safe ... scary stuff happening around our world ...

My parents never did either. They were two old maid sisters and I’m surprised they even had whiskey in the house

Teen, Jude must have been a real sweetie pie, I love that song, too, and would have loved to have heard him sing<3 it.
It’s getting close to mailing day. Anxiously waiting to see where mine goes and which one I’ll be getting

I'm anxious, too, Skaduzy. I need to know how much space on the wall I need for mine in my new home!! Lol... So funny....my hubbie thinks I'm nuts cuz all I can think about is wall decor of my quilt pretties...

I went to an estate sale last weekend and bought a few things for our new home...already restored the antique library table I bought but thought I'd share this cute little find. It's a music box..."Memories". So darn cute... Like I need something else to dust...lol...

    What an adorable sewing machine!!!!

I got my package today! Thank you so much Sharon! Having done applique I can certainly appreciate the fine touches of all those curves! And the chocolate is awesome, almost gone already!

The pen is amazing! I love those frixon pens, and can never have too many!

Thank you. I am glad you like it.

And no, the sewing machine is not great! First one arrived with broken screen, second one was sent back last week for computer problems. They now tell me that I am getting a THIRD new machine! Tech guy explained that the machines are too heavy for the packaging and that the company, Janome, ships them as "freight". So they are handled a bit rough. I am meeting the tech guy in Chattanooga, TN -- about 2.5 hours from my house, to pick up the new machine. He is going to check everything out before I get it! Got my fingers crossed!

Thanks for all the comments on Max. He is never quiet LOL He sings and chirps and trills and hits that high note all the time LOL I guess he is a happy healthy bird or he wouldn't be so busy. Still working on the taming. He does not like a hand anywhere near him but he will come close to my face. in time he will tame down I'm sure.

we lost a bird years ago when I took him to a pet show in the park. I had used the smaller cage forgetting he could raise the door in that one. Well he got out and was gone. A Week later I read in the paper a neighborhood in town had seen a cockatiel being harrassed by the local birds. Those kind people took a sheet and between them managed to catch him. I called them and we got the bird back. I never thought I'd see him again.

lots of bird stories as I"ve had a lot of birds over the years LOL
