Maybe I will buy a kit. I feel completely uninspired this month

I'm glad you girls like these patterns. I am so in love with them that I don't know how anybody could not love them too. I'll probably have trouble parting with it when I'm finished, but I know the girl who owns the pattern, so I can just make a clone. On a side note, Bigfork Bay was a brick and mortar shop in Montana and they permanently closed their business in recent years. So even if I wanted to purchase any of the same fabrics, I'm SOL. These patterns are from 2008 BTW.

I'm looking forward to more of your photos. I can't wait to see the rest of your ideas.

Sewingsew you can't go wrong with either pattern. They are both equally cute.

Thanks annaquilts. I meant to tell you before that your baby blanket is adorable! I also like your squares, nut particularly the milk can. I don't think I've seen that before. Where could I find the pattern for that?

Annaquilts, Thank you for posting the link for our personal likes and dislikes. I had no idea that was there. I just posted to it.

As time goes on I discover new things about this board that I didn't know existed.

It's not that I don't like the fabric; I just think that a different design might look better. I found another fabric at Cratfsy that I think I like better for this border. It is a Rowan Kaffe Fasset Classic fabric called "Millefiore Red." If you get a chance to look at that, tell me what you think.
I like the fabric a lot, but not for the border you are considering. I think the print is to big and busy, it will detract from the center and be hard to use as a border since you are going to have to cut off most patterns, and lose the whole.

Kassaundra, Which one of the fabrics are you speaking of? The scalloped fabric in my photo, or the Millefiore red fabric?

I think to use the fabric as a border the print will need to line up straighter like the pattern picture, and be on the plainer side so it won't detract attention from that amazing center.
