I finished two different tops today figuring I might just keep one for me as I like them more and more. I am hand stitching them as my machine is broken ARGH so good dear HEARTHHUSH please don't put your readers on to admire the fine details. I am having a whole lot of fun making them and hope I hear from my partner soon. I hadn't thought of the electricity troubles but took into account the holiday keeping her busy. Wish me luck on the finishing of these. Tomorrow.. one will be under the needle again

My top is done, I think LOL I think I will spend the day doing some more sewing for some little knick knacks.
I will confess, I am glad I didn't sit this one out after all because I like what I came up with, plus just the thrill of seeing what everyone comes up with!

My partner IrelandDragonLady (Wendy) and I have been in touch.
In fact she was my very FIRST secret pal when I joined that swap.

So I know what her favorite flower is, and favorite colors but neither
will work in a patriotic DQ LOL.

I can appreciate sore...DH & I finally graduated to walking up and down our hilly streets and boy howdy does my "well you know" feel it! LOL! We've been doing it two weeks now and I keep thinking it will get easier, but not so far. I have both my little DQ's pinned and ready to machine quilt. Taking the day off to go on a picnic with friends...Happy 4th everyone!
