i am working diligently on my dq's. have to take today off as it's my 3rd epidural. everybody keep your fingers crossed that it works! then i will be back in the sewing seat, working away!

Wow! When you can't get on for a few hours the threads go crazy! Thank you everyone for your kind comments on my DQ's. I'm amazed that both Krystyna and Almond got them so fast! I just mailed them on Saturday. Hoorah! Glad you guys like your quilts. I wanted each one to be special but different.
Almond I also got your adorable DQ in the mail and am thrilled with it! Can you see my happy smiling face??? I love the colors, the theme, the quilting...the sewing with threads and beads...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!
Okay girls, here are the pics! I included a picture of the Uncle Sam closeup so you could see the wonderful details with thread and beads Almond included and her beautiful quilting! Enjoy and be jelous! LOL!

And don't worry about swapping with me this month -- you don't need any more stress in your life at this point. I did finish your quilt and put it in the mail, but I don't want you to feel the need to reciprocate. I'd rather you use the time to rest and spend with your SIL. She's very lucky to have you there for her. There are other months and other swaps, and I'm sure we will cross paths again.
