Probably 12 in. It's a quilt as you go block. I think those dimensions for the back give you room for trimming. Will wait to see how this is answered also. Can't wait to get started on this. I am really enjoying quilt as you go blocks.

I had forgotten to get a picture of the dq I had sent Nise and sense she couldn't put a picture up and I didn't have a picture for myself she sent the quilt back to me and I took pictures and I will mail it back to her tomorrow I am hoping. What gorgeous quilts, love the patriotic fabrics used in the quilts.

Mailed my DQ to ninalemon today. Now onto my August one, have made 3 so far but not sure I can part with any of them so will have to make another one

I do love working with solid fabrics.
