I have to say, Not bragging or anything, well, maybe a little. I have not bought a pc of fabric for any of these swap quilts. (this will be my 3rd). I have been using mostly scraps, and it is sew much fun! I actually have not bought any fabric at all for over a month. It is hard! but I just don't go to the fabric shop, then I am not tempted. LOL!! This swap has been good for me in that way!! Looking forward to many more! Thank you Krystyna for including me in your group. And I DO feel very included, and that is nice!!

buslady, I know the pain of not being able to walk into a fabric store with out leaving with fabric that called my name.
I am attempting again to avoid buy fabric! My problem is I live in small town and the Mercantile is next door to post office and often times I go in for something else, but the fabric just calls my name! It's that "going to the Post office every day" that does it. I shall have to blame the lack of street delivered mail, for my obsession with fabric! LOL

Onalee (Buslayd) we're all so glad you're here! You really add so much to our little group. My personal challenge is to sew through all my fabric before I'm dead. You know that saying, the one who dies with the biggest stash wins? I think that is horrible! The one who uses up every last scrap wins!
Marybeth, I am just glad that the fabric stores I go to are quite a distance away -- between 35 and 80 miles away -- and since DH and I are sharing a car and he usually takes it to work, that solves that! My problem for July was that I know I have patriotic fabric in abundance but where is it hiding? Since I signed up for the FQ swap for two partners (I figured I could get rid of a lot of it by sending half yards!) and then we have this month's theme, I was really up the creek.
