I tell u it made me want to get up n salute. Also thanks for my little surprise that was included. I'm so glad u posted a picture, so everyone could see what I'm talking about. cuz I don't think I can post a picture threw my phone or really don't know how.
I did take ur package to the PO n was told u should get it by Monday. I do hope u do.

Just a bit of sad news to report needlegrammy's daddy passed away on Friday. I haven't heard from her yet. I am not sure when she will be coming back to Tennessee. Please keep her and the family in your prayers. Thank you.

LOL Deer, squirrels, and bunnies are what we drove up north to see in the wild. Not something you eat. I went to Europe on a Mission trip. England first, the food was good. Then Ireland, now they know how to cook a potato!! Then France. I thought I'd starve to death before we left. Grilled fish, with the head still attached!! I can't eat something that is looking back at me. LOL
Anyway, back on task. I am posting a picture of the quilt I sent to Amalia64. Last I talked to her she was moving and having trouble getting internet. It arrived at destination, so I hope it made it to her. Thanks for looking.

if i could just learn how to do those pinwheels and keep the points exact! that is what I was trying to make for nanci, but I just didn't do them right. I think I am going to do more practicing on the points, pinwheels and so on!! the quilts look great by the way!!

psychomom, points themselves are not so scary. For me its cutting all those darned triangles that bugs the heck out of me. The trick for me is to: not pull the fabric one when working with it so you dont wig it out of shape and two SEW slow and on the exact quarter or as they say here scant quart inch not over not under you know? and amazingly enough those points stay exactly where we hope they should be. I adore points in a quilt, feathers oh my! but doing them takes so much concentration and a true love and patience. I have the love not so much the other two and I do a lot of ripping of seams when I make them. Often my darned needle randomly does a oops slight detour to the right and when I look at those seams I open them up and do it again slower so its perfectly straight which helps give you a perfect point. Not that you asked by the way so tell me to shut up anytime I am fairly good at taking that. Ask my kids lol. Young people know so much these days. I can't wait til I get smarter again. just waiting for them to have kids of their own. I have given them the gypsy curse. My mom gave it to me and I am passing it on. U vait! U vil have children of your own she always said. Gulp. I had three. Now.. where are those grandchildren when you want them?
