Krisb, lucky you! Nanci made a real beauty. I can't tell but are those pieces curved? So much lovely movement!

Barbara, so good to have you back with us. What delightful quilts you and just a quilter made! I love making the New York Beauty block. So much fun! The mariner's compass is on my bucket list, and yours is adorable!

Snownannie, what a cute owl! Your quilt is so well done and just a delight to look at.

It is gorgeous, isn't is? Not curved, just how it sits on the chair.

quiltymom- you are such a good friend and i am sure you are greatly appreciated! it is difficult when real life interpheres with our quilting lives, where we worry about corners and points. honestly, has anyone sent back a dq becausde the points weren't sharp? but to not be there when needed because if them would be unthinkable. so sorry for the pain and hardship!

thank you for the compliments. i could surely use the encouragement! i made a dress for olivia to wear for her birthday. it was chosen by her mother to be worn for family only, not the birthday extravaganza on sunday. one of the other g'moms, she has 3, referred to it as " sure looking gramma-made ", and it didn't sound like a compliment. guess i'll need to practice some more. why are we/i so easily hurt? i feel sometimes like i have a great big target on me. probably, just melodramatic!!
