Dee, theses are great!
Stashmaker, I love how you outlined the star with the gold ribbon. Very cool.
JuneBillie, Your handwork is awesome. I love hand embroidery also. And the rickrack trim is perfect.
Well done ladies. It's nice to see a few more received postcards. You ladies are awesome!!

Thanks JuneBillie; you and Stashmaker did great jobs. I'd like to find an old metal lunch pail like my dad carried to work to keep my postcards in and display them. Anyone have a cute idea for display, please share

Dee, that sounds like a great idea. But, be careful of using metal, it can rust fabric if it gets even a little moisture in it. (Unless of course you plan on "finishing" the pail with a sealer.) For now, I keep mine in an open mouthed glass vase. But, it is filling up fast. And, I think one of our players mentioned looking around for a House shaped box to decorate and display postcards. I think I want to try making a fabric basket to put mine in next. I want it to be a bit bigger to hold my growing collection of postcards. They sure are great conversation pieces. The next time I visit my mom, I will be taking all the postcards I have received for her to see.
