Oh that is super exciting. Do you have any pictures on your profile of your watercolors and prints? If not do you think you could post some? I love paintings especially since I can't draw. I can do stick figures. Congrats

The number of posts on this thread is overwhelming for me - I tried keeping up, then just started skimming through. There's not enough time in the day for all of the things I need to do, let alone what I want to do, lol. And frankly, some of the comments about lack of messages and/or pictures was off-putting for me. It started to seem like people were more interested in being recognized than doing something fun and light-hearted. I've done lots of swaps, both here, on another forum and through Yahoo groups and blogs, and I've never seen comments like that. As I said in a message to Lori, I'm sorry for not following up as was seemingly expected, and realize that the SP swap is probably not the one for me.

    Peace and Joy,
    Robin

Awesome news Fay - congratulations; hope we all get a chance to see some of your work.

Secret pal - I saw your name on the list of friends waiting for their package to arrive; I clued you in an earlier post "we are already pals" and your package is on it's way - I shipped overseas to the Netherlands last month and it took only four days - wish there was a consistency with the postal department.

    I agree Faye,

I also would love to see your paintings.

Melinda - You can draw stick figures? will you be willing to
teach ME how to draw them?
Even my stick figures look lame and not at all what they
    are supposed to be.

    LOL

You are wrong, I was your SP and didn't know this was your first swap... Now that you know you need to PM your SP a Thank you... as well as Lori when you send your package, we aren't wanting to be recognized,, we all just like to see what people get... there is no have to as far as posting pictures... I took the picture of what I sent you because I wanted to remember what I had put in it.. Wish you'd give it a try again... Rosemary

I'm baaaccckkkk.....did you miss me??? I know you did...My mom has been here all week and she just left to spend the next week over at my sisters across town...tried to peek in here as much as possible but what a week!!
I've missed you all!!!! I did let Lori know those little dresses were soooo cute!! Louise glad to see you back on too...Fay how awesome about your paintings! I will chime right in with Krystyna (even though I've been off most of the week)...this month has seemed a little blah and I hope that if you are new to our swap and "lurking" that you jump right in and say HI!!!! We're lots of fun, most of us don't bite and we really aren't trying to show off or get recognition. As for me....I saw that Lori has posted August so I'm off to send her my PM.....you know you missed me

~ i received a wonderful package from peaceandjoy aka robin. thanks a bunch. i will post pic later.

~ fay congratulations on your great news. i will be one of those who look forward to seeing any pics you may post.

~ peaceandjoy i hope you reconsider leaving the swap. use your mute button and do not pay attention to the chatter if you truly enjoy this swap. post pics if you want and if you don't want to then don't. i never let anyone goad me into doing anything i do not want to do no matter how much they talk about it. and if it helps to know, i skim pages also. there is no way for me to keep up with every line posted. i just hope that i don't miss anything important.

posting pics and posting to this thread has been talked about so much that is has become a bit of an irritant. no matter how much it is brought up, there will only be so many people who post pics and so many who post on the thread. while it may not be fun for some when pics or banter is not posted on the thread, it isn't that way for everyone. some may just want to send and receive the packages and that is enough for them.

this swap should be an enjoyment for all who want to participate and it helps to keep in mind that there is no one standard of enjoyment for all. some will post pics some will not, some will banter some will not. soon enough all of the quiet in the background swappers will leave the swap and it will only be comprised of those who post banter and pics. i wonder then will everyone be happy.

peaceandjoy sent me a wonderful package this month and i would not like to see her leave but..... if she is not feeling welcome here then there are plenty places for her to go play, have fun and feel welcomed.

You all are so sweet. It took me three tries to try to figure out how to get some of my watercolors posted. They are under my profile. Here is one of my favorites
