I wanted to try a new technique for me and diamonds fit the bill. What a great way to build skills.

    The runner is 17" x 52". Enjoy

You did a beautiful job on the diamonds, and your sunflower fabric has a pretty warm fall look.

Started cutting and sewing today on a autumn themed runner, need to quilt it yet, but I like the way it turned out.. so far at least One of those days that I didn't want to load a quilt on the machine and wasn't real excited to sew anything....imagine that and every seam matched without even trying....go figure................

I started mine yesterday too. Unlike you, Jaba, I had a lot of unpicking to do

I have several different colored leaves sandwiched and ironed, ready to appliqué, but that's as far as I've gotten. Will probably make more than one this time, then decide which one to swap. Looking forward to some early sneak peeks.

Wow, everyone is so quiet. We must all be busy working on our runners

I was thinking the same thing. Every one is out and about this summer. Talk and share will pick up closer to September, I'm sure. Though I sure would love to hear from people so I know I'm not alone. You know, it's all about me!

Ube just busy getting ready to leave. Lots of those "loose" ends to get done. I do have my runner sewn and quilted, have to finish the binding at some time and it will be ready to mail. It's autumn themed....
