I've started doing Maggie's block. Have most of the 2.5" blocks cut out but then my back gave out so I had to stop for tonight. Hopefully I can finish cutting tomorrow and perhaps to start to sew them together. Wonder how many times I'll have to unstitch them this time. LOL.

Oh I usually have to unstitch some of them once or twice. I just figure it's me and part of the learning process. It's my own stupid fault. I lay out the 2.5" squares and then pick them up wrong or something. This is one of the nice things about these cut down methods. They LOOK hard, but they aren't as hard as they look. So you can impress your friends in doing them and just smile.

You'll do fine.

Mom-6 I received your block today. I just love it and I love the fabrics. It was a nice surprise to receive the candle. How did you know I am a candle person too. I have them in every room in my house. I'll use this one in the sewing room, it has a nice fresh smell. Thank you again. Katie

By the way, this picture does not do it justice. It is brighter than this. I think I need to find a different place to take pictures.

Glad you liked the block and the candle. That one is my new favorite! It is part of the new Mint Rx line we just took to Market in Dallas a couple weeks ago.

mom-6 and Katie that is a beautiful quilt block. I love blues. Even if it isn't a true color it is great! You do good work on them!

Woo Whoo! Done early for once (have to, a large long-arm project will demand the next week or so of my time).

It's Clara, Week 28. Picture coming tomorrow, in the natural sunlight because my camera takes sucky pics in the lighting I have in the basement where my sewing station is.

Here's a picture of the lovely block Katie sent me. I tried to get a picture of all 4 that I've gotten but it only shows 3. My table outside is too narrow to do them in a square configuration. And inside the lighting isn't great.

Those look great together. And I think you got a better picture of the block so I'm going to copy it. The more blocks that we get the more fun it is becoming.
